International Children’s Day is a public holiday observed in some countries every first of June. This is celebrated to remind the world to address some problems that have direct or indirect effect of children worldwide. Last Sunday, TESOL COACH MASTER INC. through its program TCM Cares sponsored the “GIVING BACK PROJECT” of a local Christian NGO- Genesis Community of Transformation which is based at Chak Angrey Kraom, Phnom Penh, Cambodia. This outreach was also through the initiative of the trainees (teachers in Cambodia) who are attending the training dubbed as Spring 2019 Massive Open Online Learning Course (MOOC) on Teaching English to Young Learners that is delivered by George Mason University (USA).
TCM Cares believes that education can change our children’s destiny. With this, part of our mission is to provide educational materials/school supplies to selected children whom we think are qualified to be our beneficiaries. Furthermore, we also sponsor feeding program to selected schools or students.
During the outreach program in Cambodia, TESOL COACH MASTER INC. (TCM CARES PROGRAM) was able to distribute 30 school bags to thirty young learners ages 7 to 12 years old as beneficiaries. Moreover, the organizer had also conducted some interactive English language activities to give meaning in the celebration International Children’s Day.
Special thanks to Ms. Gem Bangsl and Ms. Lucy for representing TESOL COACH MASTER INC. and for doing all the preparations which made the event a big success. To our trainees, part of your tuition fees goes to our outreach program-TCM Cares. Thank you so much for the trust!!!
